My father was a pilot in the United
States Air Force serving in the training mission with the Uruguayan Air
Force. We returned to the Washington DC area when he took a post at the
Pentagon. He later was the Commandant of the Air Force English Language
school in San Antonio where many international students came for technical language
training.
