From Bill Bishop (wbishop@dbc.com) Mao's badges were produced in large quantities during the Cultural Revolution. According to some estimates, over 90% of Chines wore Mao's badges in 1969. Once a symbol of loyalty and revolutionary fervor, Mao's badges and pins are now valuable collector's items. |
