MACAU: TRAVEL PICTURES

AMIZADE (Friendship)
29 May 1997
Monument to Friendship

The woman with the flower represents China, the man Portugal. Both are standing on a Portuguese XVI-century sailboat. The circle represents the world.

(Sukran and Basheer, very tired. It's been a long day! We woke up in Guangzhou, drove to Zhuhai, and then crossed the border to Macau.)

A Portuguese brochure, with a nice picture of the Monument to Friendship. St. Paul's ruins can be seen through the monument's circle.
